Support the Academy

The mission of the Woodstock Academy is to provide a rigorous education in a safe environment, preparing all students for a lifetime of learning through a diversity of experiences. Furthermore, the Academy aims to foster in students a sense of respect for self and others, encouraging active investment in family, school, community, and world.

To properly provide this educational environment we must continue to invest our time and resources.  As a member of the Resource Development Committee, a subcommittee of the Board of Trustees, we have discussed the need to enhance fundraising at the Academy for both long term endowment growth and capital campaigns.  As we look at enhancement projects in the future, the ability to raise funds will be integral to success.  This committee meets regularly and is committed to increasing our ability to privately finance future endeavors.  I hope all of our constituents will support this growth.

As an alumna, I value the education I received at the Academy.  It established a solid foundation of knowledge which I could cultivate with confidence.  I have watched how it has also prepared my two daughters, an alumna and a current student, to succeed in our changing world.  They will make a difference because of the Academy Difference.
