Engineering Design: Students will be able to apply the engineering design process to achieve desired outcomes across all technology content areas.

Note: Grade level is indicated in the 4th digit in the standard number

09.0.11.5.6 Students will develop conceptual designs for transportation, communications, production and bio-related problems
09.0.11.5.7 Students will use a variety of creativity-enhancing techniques in conceptual design situations

GRADES9 thru 12
09.0.11.9.1 Students will differentiate between the problem solving and engineering design processes
09.0.11.9.2 Students will describe the detail design phase of the engineering design process
09.0.11.9.3 Students will demonstrate an ability to complete a detail design for any given embodiment design
09.0.11.9.4 Students will apply a variety of creativity-enhancing techniques in completing a conceptual, embodiment and detail design solution
09.0.11.9.5 Students will apply the full engineering design process to produce a product on time that meets all initial criteria, using appropriate tools and material resources
