The student will be able to:
Archery-
Identify and use correctly and safely the different parts of a bow, arrow, arm guard,
fingerpad, target stand, target,cones, ladders
Set up an archery backdrop correctly and safely
Explain and demonstrate proper stance when shooting
Explain the importance of a cluster of arrows
Perform safety commands that will be used during shooting
Perform shadow shooting so students understand the commands and proper
technique
Weight lifting-
Explain its importance to physical fitness
Incorporate different exercises, using station work, to be used each day
Explain how many sets and repetitions they should be doing and what weight they
should be lifting
Students will switch partners to help insure team work within the class
Students will use a circuit training method, i.e. two students will be at each
exercise station and will switch off every five minutes with one minute to rotate
to the next exercise station
Racket Sports- Tennis, Badmitton, Pickleball
Hold the racquet by using the hand shake grip.
Demonstrate the correct technique for racket strokes: forehand, backhand and
serve
Explain the rules for both doubles and singles
Demonstrate various tactics that could be used during singles and doubles

Understand scoring, rules, and serving boundaries for singles and doubles

While in the gymnasium have students work on ball control by each student getting a tennis ball and performa variety of ball control exercises.
Also in the gym have students practice the forehand and backhand strokes against the wall and practicethe serve against the backdrop
When on the courts use a variety of drills, 'monarchof the court', 'tennis baseball'
Have students play singles and doubles, create a tournament if time available
