Students in Computer Repair will develop the ability to:
--Explain how floppy drives work and how to exchange and support floppy drives,
--Explain hard drive technologies and how a hard drive is logically organized to hold data,
--Explain how a hard drive communicates with hard drive firmware,
--Demonstrate how to install a hard drive,
--Identify how to solve hard drive installation problems.
--Explain the concepts of supporting hard drive and making backups.,
--Explain viruses and other computer infestations and how to protect against them.
Identify how to troubleshoot hard drives.
