Assignment #7: Introduction to Electrical Engineering: Electronic Schematics
Assignment #8: Introduction to Civil Engineering: Using an Optical Transit

Student in Engineering CAD will develop the ability to:
-- Develop electrical and electronic symbols,
-- Sight lines with an optical transit,
-- Use civil engineering-type measuring tools,
-- Develop basic civil engineering drawings.

All students will:
-- Draw electrical schematics,
-- Set up and use a transit and measuring tools,
-- Make drawings based on data collected using the transit and measuring tools.

Effort/attitude/participation = 50% of grade
Assessed daily, recorded as a weekly grade
Assigned Drawing Projects = 50% of grade
Assessed for quality of workmanship and meeting scheduled deadlines
Students will print completed drawings of electrical schematics.
Students will set up and use an optical transit.
Students will print completed drawings based on the data collected using the transit and measuring tools.

Assignment sheets showing the drawing to be completed.
Optical transit.
