The production staff includes: Producer, director, music director, choreographer, lighting director, stage manager, costume designer, publicist, make-up artist, stage crew. 400 400 The students will learn about each job and the role that each person plays in making a production happen. 400 500 In this unit, the student will: 500 *Describe the jobs of each member of the production staff 500 *Explain how each member of the production staff is important to the overall production 600 IN this unit, the students will be exposed to the job titles of the members of a production staff for a musical. The students will have the opportunity to research well known directors, musical directors, choreographers and producers. 700 Students will be assessed in the following manner: 700 *Test-short answer, compare and contrast 700 *Research paper/project on well known director, music director, producer or choreographer 800 If possible, bring in a guest speaker to the class that is a member of a production staff as a career.
