5) Describe the World instrument clssification system and classify Band and world instruments by this system
6) Understand and demonstrate drum circle technique
7) Compose pieces through TUBS notation
8) Write a research paper on the history of a chosen focus instrument



Students will learn about instruments of the world and of their country
students will understand the two classification systems for musical instruments
students will participate in an African Drum Circle
create compositions through TUBS notation to be performed
