07.0 SCIENCE

Do gases behave in a predictable manner?
How are pressure, temperature and volume related?
What are the gas laws?

The gas laws
Collecting gases over water and use of Dalton's law
Stoichiometry not at STP

Students will develop the ability to: Use the gas laws to calculate various specifications of gases
Combine the gas laws to expand stoiciometric calculations
Use pressure probes to develop the relationship between volume and pressure

Boyle's law lab using pressure probes
Practice problems involving all of the gas laws and stoichiometry
