Students in Broadcast Production Technology will develop the ability to:

--Show use and care of the video camera,

--Use and care of the audio equipment in a studio environment,

--Plan studio productions and gear studio productions towards an intended audience,

--Identify various jobs and resources needed for a studio production,

--Use the video mixer and soundboard.



All students will:

--Have extensive exposure to audio and video production in the studio environment,

--Be involved in the planning, producing and implementing of a studio production,

--Be involved with the various jobs required for a studio production,

--Be involved with the set up, production and packaging of a studio production.



The student will be able to describe targeting techniques.
The student will be able to demonstrate how to properly use a video camera.
The student will be able to describe what television is and it's impact on today's society.
