Project Graduation 2008

“Hard to believe!” But true, the “Class of 2008” are seniors!

Now comes the fun.

Project Graduation Committee funds an all night, chaperoned, substance-free celebration for the graduating seniors following their “Class Night.”  The goal of the night is simple: to help ensure that the futures of our children are not cut short by a few careless hours of celebrating and risky behavior during what should be a time of joy in their young lives. The funds raised by P.G. go directly to the “Class Night” celebration.  We need to raise $23,000.00 in order to provide our kids with a safe and enjoyable evening.  If you would like to join us we would be happy to have you.  Contact Pam Lee 974-1825 or plee1825@charter.net . Many of the parent-sponsored fundraisers have become time-honored traditions passed down from one class to the next.  The Prom Fashion Show, Comedy Night, Calendar Raffle, NYC Bus Trip and The Golf Tournament are just a few of the exciting activities that the Senior Class Parents and volunteers organize.

You are cordially invited to the next meeting of the Senior Parent, Class of 2008 Project Graduation.

Meetings: 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM, Rm B120B

Lets not let the kids have all the fun.  Come and join us and we will celebrate together with a year full of events aimed at keeping our kids safe and happy.
Sincerely,
Woodstock Academy’s 2008 Project Graduation Committee

Any questions please call 860 974-1825

You’ve Been Flocked!

Our birds have flown south for the winter but will return in the spring as soon as the ground thaws.

These flamingos plan to reside on your lawn for the next 48 hours, then they will be removed by a volunteer whether you make a donation or not.  Fees are suggested amounts only and are tax-deductible.  All donation amounts are welcome and  appreciated.

Flamingo 24 hr Free Emergency Rescue Hotline:
860-779-3372, 860-617-7897

Sign up to flock someone!

$15 will send 15 birds to take up residence on the lawn of your choice.
Choose someone who might have a sense of humor about being flocked within the W.A . sending  towns:  Woodstock, Pomfret, Brooklyn, Canterbury, Sterling, Ashford or Eastford. If they already have insurance, you are out of luck, so please list an alternate address.

If you have just been flocked, please pay $15 to get these delightfully tacky birds to move along

or, Pay $25 if you would like to re-flock someone else!

Insurance:
Pre-flocking insurance is $10 and will prevent you from ever having to host a flamingo party in your yard.  Good for one school year.

You can be flocked repeatedly!  Post-flocking insurance (a bargain at only $5) protects you from being flocked again for the remainder of the school year.
