All soups, sauces, roasted meats, vegetables, and starches are prepared from scratch cooking utilizing the freshest ingredients, using classical cooking techniques and adhering to H.A.C.C.P guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary food service environment.

Flik Independent Schools by Chartwells also offers a wide variety of nutritional programs such as Color My Plate menu concepts, Balanced Choices and Nutrigrams which are focused on the importance of the students eating healthy, which is conductive in a learning environment. Besides the weekly menu above, we also offer a large variety of 100% juices; whole, skim, and chocolate milk; soy milk; and V8 products. In accordance with the state of Connecticut, we do not sell any drinks with caffeine, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial sweeteners. We also carry an assortment of made fresh sandwiches, wraps, pitas, fresh fruit, salads, and low sodium snacks.
