The Woodstock Academy endowment is recognized as a lasting financial resource created and maintained to preserve the excellence of an Academy education for future generations.
Remembering The Academy through endowment gifts helps ensure The Academy remain a permanent and accessible educational fixture for students.
All funds contributed to the endowment are permanently restricted as defined by The Academy’s investment policy. Principal may not be touched, and only a percentage of income will be used by The Academy on an annual basis. This prudent policy will help the endowment to grow over time, while providing vital resources to the school every year.
Named scholarships and special gifts to The Academy’s endowment fund enable The Academy to fulfill its mission and allow donors to honor others. Named funds afford donors the opportunity to direct funding toward a particular need in perpetuity.
You can help in several ways; individuals, families, businesses, corporations, and foundations can make gifts to The Woodstock Academy through gifts of cash, securities, life insurance, real property, life-income gifts or other deferred gift options.
We can provide important information about giving through confidential conversations with the Associate Head of School for Advancement, Jonathan Sturdevant, who can be reached at (860) 928-6575; ext 1211.
