Welcome to The Woodstock Academy!
We serve students from six sending towns, many throughout Northeastern Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts, and international students from around the globe. Our wide range of academic, vocational, and technical courses allow students to achieve. Our outstanding music and art programs provide avenues for students to create, our large athletic department brings triumph into students' lives, and our rich array of extra-curricular activities help students discover new passions.
Transportation is provided to all students in sending towns as well as to students in Massachusetts communities. Additionally, we offer a late bus each weekday, year-round for students involved in after school activities.

Led by eight practicing artists and musicians, our Fine Arts Department helps students discover their personal voice and assists them as they learn how to express it creatively. With over 30 art and music courses offered, students can enjoy courses ranging from Music Production and Music Tech in our state-of-the-art music lab and recording studio to Graphic Design, Studio Art, and Photography in our professional grade art facilities.

The athletic department’s primary goals are to cultivate each student-athlete’s mind, body, and spirit in ways that inspire, teach positive life lessons, and create enjoyment.

Each year students receive several opportunities to step into the spotlight and perform in productions at The Woodstock Academy such as our Spring Musical and Shakespeare Production. Students can also pick-up valuable skills by taking on roles with the crew, managing the productions, or assisting in building the sets.

Through more than 70 clubs and organizations, students explore new interests, new ways to further their knowledge, and new avenues for uncovering all that life offers. Opportunities in theatre, music, volunteer service, politics, government, publications, and more enrich The Academy experience. The rich variety of activities helps our community promote diversity and inclusion.

Through world travel and cultural exchanges, students become more informed, culturally-sensitive world citizens. Students have three, or more, opportunities to travel locally, nationally, and globally throughout the year.
