The Woodstock Academy at a Glance
The Woodstock Academy is an independent day and boarding, co-educational, college preparatory high school for grades 9-12 and postgraduates.
The Woodstock Academy offers day and boarding students extensive programs in academics, arts, and athletics. Students at The Academy gain the opportunities offered by large schools within a close-knit community. Our rigorous academic program, balanced with numerous beyond-the-classroom activities prepares each student for life after high school. Our campus is a quiet and safe place to learn and grow located just one hour from Boston, Massachusetts.
Each year The Woodstock Academy offers multiple opportunities for students to travel internationally and participate in cultural exchanges. Recently students have traveled to Spain, Peru, Italy, Senegal, Greece, Germany, and Switzerland. Additional travel opportunities are available to students through participation in student activities and competitions.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING
The Woodstock Academy offers opportunities for English Language Learners (ELL) to advance their English language skills and prepare for courses taught in English.
IN THE CLASSROOM
In 2019, The Woodstock Academy administered 413 AP Exams to 236 students; 81% scored a 3 or higher and 66 were AP Scholars, including 2 National AP Scholars

LIVING ON CAMPUS
Boarding students live on The Woodstock Academy South Campus in three residence halls alongside dorm parents and their families. There are two students per room. The WA Res Life program provides a range of evening and weekend activities and celebrations to foster community and allow students to enjoy the surrounding area. The Woodstock Academy offers full and 5-day boarding opportunities.
