Currently, there are 1025 students enrolled at The Woodstock Academy, grades 9-12. The majority of our students are day students who come from our sending towns, Woodstock, Pomfret, Eastford, Brooklyn, Canterbury and Union. In addition we have tuition students from non-sending towns and international boarding students. Approximately 8.5% of our students will be international students.
Most of our international students live with host families close to the school. These students experience American cultures and traditions and improve their English skills while at home. The Woodstock Academy also has two small "house-like" dorms close to the campus.
The Woodstock Academy is open each school day Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is best to call the admissions office to assure that someone will be available to provide you with a tour and information: 860-928-6575; option 2

Absolutely! Because of our flexible semester schedule students can attend from between 1 semester and 4 full years. If a student wants to earn a diploma from The Woodstock Academy, he or she must have all of the graduation requirements fulfilled before graduation. If a student is only looking for a cultural experience, he or she may attend for a shorter time and no particular classes are required.
The school day begins at 7:40 a.m. and ends at 2:15 p.m. At 2:15, athletics and after school activities begin. All students are encouraged to participate in these activities. If a student needs to be on campus after the day ends, the library is open until 5:30 p.m.
