Each year, The Woodstock Academy students bring to life musical and non-musical stage productions as actors, dancers, instrumentalists, technical staff, and more! 

Inside and outside the classroom

Elective courses in theater and musical theater allow students to explore the wide world of theater as a part of their educational portfolio. Guest performances by traveling production companies at The Woodstock Academy and field trips to theaters give students further exposure. 

Set up for success 

Loos Center for the Arts on South Campus holds our thousand-seat theater. Outfitted with the industry's top-quality entertainment equipment, Loos Center is available as a resource for all students on campus to get the best experience possible in the arts. Loos Center for the Arts also holds our 72-seat Lecture Hall, perfect for small performances, movie nights, and speeches. Bates Memorial Auditorium, found on North Campus, is our medium-sized stage, providing a more intimate experience for small-scale productions.
