Cheering on our Centaurs: Guidelines for Spectators
In an effort to keep everyone safe, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines when coming to a game. These are essentially the same guidelines many of us have been following for months now while attending different sporting events. We have marked our fields at Bentley with designated family spots marked 15-feet apart. We ask that if you are coming to an event, you register for a family/household spot in advance, or upon arrival, on the day of the event which includes the health screening. (The registration process will be reset each day, so please do not try to register days before the event.) With the exception of volleyball, up to four family members may register for a family spot at our fields. Per the CT Reopens guidelines for indoor gyms, only one family member per volleyball athlete is allowed in the facility and that will be monitored at each volleyball contest.
If the capacity for a specific field/fieldhouse is full, you will not be able to select that destination, and you should not plan to attend the event.
Our specific expectations are:- Wear a Mask
- Physical Distance*
- Register for, and stay in, your designated family/household area.
- Complete the health screening as part of the registration: woodstockacademy.org/athleticscreening
(* At the end of each event, we ask that the spectators not wait around the fields for the players but wait in their cars. Players will not be dismissed by coaches until all spectators have left the playing area.)
Please note, per the ECC, visiting team spectators are not allowed at any ECC contest.Thank you in advance from the Centaur community for protecting the safety of our students and ensuring that athletics will continue to be an option for them!
