The Woodstock Academy College and Career Counseling Program is founded on the belief that each student possesses intrinsic worth and is a unique and dynamic individual capable of personal growth and self-direction. Respectful of differences, the program assists and supports students as they begin to understand themselves, develop decision-making and problem-solving skills, and plan for the future. The program provides a diversity of experiences suited to the individual student’s aptitudes, interests and goals while providing necessary and important information in preparing for success in further education or a career. Counseling promotes effective communication and life-planning skills that help students grow into responsible adults.
