Mr. Donte Adams

Donte Adams, was born and raised in the Bronx, NY.  He went to and played high school basketball at Eagle Academy for young men. After graduating from Eagle Academy, he started his collegiate career at Cecil College. Coach Adams played at Cecil from 2012-14, earning All-American honors and becoming the 11th all-time school leading scorer. He then went and played the 2014-15 season at University of Central Missouri, and went on to finish his collegiate career at Talladega College, in Alabama. After receiving his bachelors degree in business management, Coach Adams went on and played three years of professional basketball in Mexico. After playing overseas for a few years, he started coaching and working for one of the top AAU programs in Pittsburgh, PA called BSA (Basketball Stars of America), where he coached a very talented AAU team, the Pittsburgh Supreme. In this position, he coached and trained some of the top talent in the New York , Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia areas. 

In his private life, Mr. Adams is Founder and CEO of Inferno Training. He launched this program to help student-athletes in the inner-city excel in basketball using high-level training, mentoring services, and character development. Mr. Adams uses and teaches the skills of basketball to learn life lessons and help guide student-athletes all across the world. He also worked as a Skill Development Trainer. To help build the skills of young players from the ages of 6-18 with one-on-one and group training.

Mr. Todd & Jamie Blodgett

Todd and Jamie live in Westhaver Hall and have lived on campus since 2018. Todd is a 2011 graduate of The Woodstock Academy and has been a Woodstock resident for over 20 years. He played soccer, basketball and lacrosse at The Academy and has previously coached with the basketball and soccer teams at The Woodstock Academy. He works at the University of Connecticut in the Office of Early College Programs. Jamie is a social worker at Natchaug Hospital in Mansfield Center, CT. She is a graduate of Quinnipiac University and NYU Silver where she graduated with her Master's in Social Work. They are expecting the birth of their first son this Fall!

Ms. Cassie Caron

Cassie Caron is from Brooklyn Connecticut, and is a 2017 graduate of The Woodstock Academy. She graduated with a degree in Music from the University of Connecticut in 2021 and is working on getting certified to become a music teacher. She joined the Reslife Community in Spring 2022, you can typically find her on third floor Westhaver where she’ll most likely be sewing, embroidering, making music and doing any creative activity you can think of.

Mr. Todd D'Alessandro

Todd and Cristy D'Alessandro are excited to join The Woodstock Academy Residential Life community. Todd earned his B.A from UCONN and his M.A. from Mount Holyoke College. He taught Spanish, coached soccer/lacrosse, and served as a dorm parent at The Ethel Walker School from 2013 to 2021. He comes to Woodstock Academy from The South Kent School where he taught ESL, coached soccer, and was a member of the Residential Life Team from 2021 to 2023. Todd is the assistant coach for the Prep Soccer Program, Cristy works for Dymax corporation in Torrington, CT.  Todd and Cristy have been married for 27 years and have three bilingual children; daughter Mariela 22, and twin sons Nicholas and Anthony 20. They both enjoy travelling; Every year to Mexico to visit Cristy's family, and road trips to visit their children.

Colleen Deskus is from Woodstock, CT and graduated from the class of 2018 at The Woodstock Academy. She works at Putnam Elementary School and is currently in college to complete her social work degree. She loves to meet new people, travel, and spend time with both family and friends! Brandon Fuentes was born in Willimantic, CT and has also lived in Texas and New Jersey. He speaks both Spanish and English and loves to share his Mexican Culture. Brandon loves to workout, connect with new people and adventure. You can find Brandon and Colleen around Westhaver or outside playing with both of their dogs Benny, and Duke!

Mrs. Ashley & Nicholas Dove

Ashley and Nicholas Dove are thrilled by the opportunity to serve as dorm parents at Woodstock Academy. Nicholas' work as a computational biologist in Boston reflects his ardent love for the sciences, while Ashley's experience as a former franchisee and small business owner underscores her enterprising spirit. Both avid travelers, and having studied abroad, they enjoy the global perspectives Woodstock Academy offers. Their shared passion for outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing, attests to their joy in nature's calming quality. They also enjoy playing board games, cooking, arts and crafts, and taking care of their two dogs, whom you may see around campus. With Ashley's background as a former boarding school student and Nicholas' commitment to fostering a supportive community, they are elated to be members of the school community and warmly encourage everyone to connect with them.

Chris Dunn has worked at The Woodstock Academy for many years as a Maintenance Technician and his wife Jess works at the University of Connecticut. Chris and Jess are both alumni of The Woodstock Academy and this will be their fourth year as members of the WA ResLife Community. They have three children, Cameron, Ayden, and Noah who love to explore and interact with everyone on campus. The Dunn family enjoys being outside, playing and watching sports, hanging at the lake, going for walks, and traveling.

Mr. Greg Dunn

In addition to being born and raised in Woodstock, Greg is also a Woodstock Academy, Class of ’04 alumni. He has a daughter Gabriela (8), and two sons, Jameson (2) and Lukas (1 month). Greg enjoys gardening, cooking, fixing/building things, exploring nature, attending live performances, and trying new hobbies. He works off campus in manufacturing, with a customer-focus on aerospace flight control. The Dunn’s joined the ResLife community in January of 2022 and can be found on the first floor in the Warren building. You will also see them playing outside, running around in the lounges, or by the desserts at dinner time.

Mr. Owen Finberg

Owen Finberg joins the Res Life staff as a resident of the first floor of Warren. Coach Finberg has 23 years of residential life experience at two different boarding schools and is looking forward to becoming part of the Woodstock community.  In addition to coaching soccer, Coach Finberg loves to spend time with his family having fun, hiking, swimming and traveling.  He will reside in Warren with his wife and three children.

Mr. Richard Glemawu


 
Coach Richard Glemawu is originally from Accra, Ghana. He attended South Kent School as a student and played soccer for them from. Coach Glemawu went on to play soccer at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia and graduated with a bachelor's in criminology and a minor in history. He loves to travel, and he has had the privilege of playing soccer in over ten different countries. He is the assistant coach / goalkeeper coach for the men’s soccer team and also runs the team's Instagram page. He creates soccer videos and soccer tutorial videos on Instagram and Tik Tok. He has created content for brands like Umbro, body armor, and Eletto sports.

Ms. Emma Green & Mr. Nathan Johns

Emma Green and Nathan John are both graduates from The Woodstock Academy. After graduating high school, Emma completed her undergraduate degree at Eastern Connecticut State University, while Nathan attended the University of New Hampshire. Although this is their first year as dorm parents, Emma has lived on South Campus for the past four years with her parents, Jennifer and Christopher Green. After completing undergrad, it was an easy decision for her to come back and apply to be a part of the amazing community she had seen over the last four years. Emma is continuing her education at the University of Connecticut in their Master of Social Work program, with hopes of becoming a high school social worker. Throughout the school day, you may see Ms. Green on North Campus, as she is completing her field work for graduate school at the Woodstock Academy.  Currently, Nathan attends Pennsylvania State University with plans to complete his Master’s in Applied Statistics. In their free time, Nathan and Emma love to watch sporting events, bake, and go outside! You can find them (and their candy jar) on the first floor of Westhaver!

Chris is a Campus Safety Officer and JV lacrosse coach at The Woodstock Academy. Jennifer works at Quinebaug Valley Community College. Chris and Jen have two children: Emma, who graduated from The Academy in 2019 and attends Eastern Connecticut State University; and Tyler, who graduated in 2022 and attends Genesee Community College in NY. The Greens have one dog, Daisy Mae, and two cats, Oliver and Tiggy. The Greens love attending sporting events, cooking and baking together, skiing, and traveling.  This is their fourth year as part of the ResLife family.  They can be found on the third floor of Warren Hall and look forward to hosting dinners and activities for students throughout the year.

Ms. Michelle Luciano & Mr. Anthony Rivera

Michelle was born in Puerto Rico but was raised in Holyoke, MA. She grew up frequently attending church and always had a heart for helping others. Ms. Luciano works at WA as a special education teacher and finds joy in forming meaningful connections with her students. Outside of work, she loves reading books, watching crime documentaries, and spending quality time with her friends. Baked goods are her weakness and traveling is her favorite thing to do on the weekends. 
 
Anthony was born and raised in Holyoke, MA. When he was 20 years old he joined the United States Army, where he served for five years. He was able to travel around the country and went on to live in South Korea for a year. After service, he worked as a behavioral technician with patients who had experienced traumatic brain injuries. Anthony has a love fitness and photography. On weekends he enjoys exploring New England and spending time with his family. Mr. Rivera joined the WA community and works in Campus Safety during the academic day.

Carolina Millan is the Assistant Administrator of Admissions at The Woodstock Academy. Ms. Millan is from California and has been residing in Woodstock, CT for nearly three years! She enjoys spending her time with family and friends and students who live on South Campus. Mr. Andrew and Ilse Morehouse are entering their second year as part of the WA Reslife family along with their son, Victor. Mr. Morehouse is also a World Language teacher at the Woodstock Academy who teaches Latin, ancient Greek, and Spanish. Ilse is a Classics PhD student at Boston University, and Victor is a freshman at the WA. They enjoy traveling, taking walks, doing karaoke, and playing games of all sorts, including Xbox, PC, Switch, and board games!

Cherra, Ms. Nester, Callie, and Eva live in Warren 3 West. Ms. Nester is a Family & Consumer Science, P.E. & Health teacher at The Woodstock Academy.  Cherra is a firefighter in Johnston, RI. Ms. Carolyn Noren and Mr. Joey Sweeney

Carolyn and Joey live on 2nd floor Annhurst. Carolyn has worked in residential programming for 5+ years and is overjoyed to be back at her alma mater (class of 2006). In recent years, her and Joey have been a host family for a number of WA Reslife students. They are passionate about supporting and caring for students who are far from home, and look forward to contributing to the South Campus community. Carolyn currently works in the technology and data sector as a Senior Research Analyst, and Joey works as a service technician for a cryogenic freezer company. When not socializing with students and staff, they enjoy hanging out with their three cats (Rufus, Weasley, & Petunia), spending time outdoors, and helping out on the Noren family farm.

Mr. Josh Perez

Mr. Perez has been with res life for almost 2 years. He works at Day Kimball Hospital as a certified pharmacy technician, and has a second job at Bloomingdales Luxury clothing store. Mr. Perez enjoys working out, traveling, and enjoying new food spots in his free time. He is also very family oriented and is looking forward to the school year with all incoming students.

John Rigney is the Assistant Head of School for the South Campus and has worked in the boarding school environment for the last twenty-six years. John and his wife Kirsten live on the South Campus with their four children; Fiona, Owen, Abel, and Hazel. Along with two cats and their big dog Juno, the Rigney’s keep chickens and bees. They love being active outdoors, keeping a garden, and being part of the campus community. You can find the Rigney family at the southern end of campus in the corner yellow house. Mr. Sean & Mrs. Bobbie-Jo Saucier

Sean Saucier is the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach at The Woodstock Academy. His wife, Bobbie-Jo Saucier, is the Director of Health Services. They have both been involved in the boarding school community for the last thirteen years. They live on the South Campus with their two children, Braiden (18, a freshman at Bentley College) and Kaylee (15, a sophomore at WA). They also have a cat and two beautiful German Shepherd dogs, Hannah and Oakley. You may find Hannah occasionally wandering off onto the soccer fields, but don’t be afraid. She is a friendly, affectionate dog that loves to play fetch.  The Saucier family loves spending their free time at their lake house swimming, boating, tubing/waterskiing, and fishing in the summer. They are a “sports” family and are often found bringing their kids to soccer, basketball, lacrosse, football, or an occasional round of golf.  The Saucier family lives at the southern end of campus in the front yellow house.  They welcome visitors and Mrs. Saucier is great at baking cookies and other treats for students to enjoy.  They are glad to be part of the WA Community.

Mr. Reggie & Lydia Stovell

Reggie is the Assistant Admissions Director at Woodstock Academy. His wife, Lydia Stovell, and their baby daughter, Rhea Stovell, moved here from Savannah, Georgia. They are happy to be part of this lively, kind and peaceful community. Previously, they lived in Savannah, New York City, and Stockholm, Sweden. To say it’s been an interesting ride is an understatement. 

Here at The Woodstock Academy, they plan to continue raising their daughter, exercising (their favorite activity as a family), and exploring the surroundings. They have had a chance to observe the Woodstock Fair, the local farms and ponds, and, of course, the cities and college campuses within an hours' drive. They like to be a part of everything and look forward to immersing themselves in the community.

Kevin and Alison were both born and raised in Connecticut. Kevin is originally from Burlington and went to college at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. After graduating from Woodstock Academy in 2001, Alison attended Eastern Connecticut State University. They met in Los Angeles where they both lived for over 10 years. After marrying in August 2022 they decided to move back to CT, joining the Res Life program in November 2022.  Kevin is a car enthusiast, loves snowboarding and spending time at the lake. Alison loves plants, being outdoors, cooking and reading. Together they enjoy spending time with their families and serving at their church. They are very excited to be a part of the Res Life program and look forward to getting to know everyone at South Campus!

The Tosetti family is going in their 4th year living in Warren hall. Mr & Mrs. Tosetti, Jayden who just graduated from WA class if 2022, Carter who is a sophomore this year and Jaxon who is in 5th grade live there with their 2 small dogs, 2 cats and a Guinea pig named Koji! Mrs. Tosetti has moved from her Admissions role to The Director of Residential life starting this year. You can find her in her office in Annhurst Hall!

Ms. Breana Weidele & Mr. Jacob Hall

Bree and Jake are natives of the quiet corner and are both Woodstock Academy Alumni. They are going into their 3rd year as part of the res-life community and are new residents of Westhaver!  During the day, Bree is a paraprofessional at WA and is a currently a graduate student at Arizona State University (online) studying Applied Behavior Analysis. She also has a BS in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University, and an AS in Early Childhood Education from Quinebaug Valley Community College. Jake is an IT specialist at Central Wire Industries In Pomfret and holds an AS of Information Technology from North Idaho College. Bree and Jake recently got engaged this past January are are looking forward to their upcoming wedding in October of 2024!
