Mr. Donte Adams
Donte Adams, was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He went to and played high school basketball at Eagle Academy for young men. After graduating from Eagle Academy, he started his collegiate career at Cecil College. Coach Adams played at Cecil from 2012-14, earning All-American honors and becoming the 11th all-time school leading scorer. He then went and played the 2014-15 season at University of Central Missouri, and went on to finish his collegiate career at Talladega College, in Alabama. After receiving his bachelors degree in business management, Coach Adams went on and played three years of professional basketball in Mexico. After playing overseas for a few years, he started coaching and working for one of the top AAU programs in Pittsburgh, PA called BSA (Basketball Stars of America), where he coached a very talented AAU team, the Pittsburgh Supreme. In this position, he coached and trained some of the top talent in the New York , Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia areas.
In his private life, Mr. Adams is Founder and CEO of Inferno Training. He launched this program to help student-athletes in the inner-city excel in basketball using high-level training, mentoring services, and character development. Mr. Adams uses and teaches the skills of basketball to learn life lessons and help guide student-athletes all across the world. He also worked as a Skill Development Trainer. To help build the skills of young players from the ages of 6-18 with one-on-one and group training.

Ms. Cassie Caron
Cassie Caron is from Brooklyn Connecticut, and is a 2017 graduate of The Woodstock Academy. She graduated with a degree in Music from the University of Connecticut in 2021 and is working on getting certified to become a music teacher. She joined the Reslife Community in Spring 2022, you can typically find her on third floor Westhaver where she’ll most likely be sewing, embroidering, making music and doing any creative activity you can think of.

Mr. Joe Cherackal
Joe Cherackal is the Prep Soccer Head Coach and is entering his second year as a dorm parent in Westhaver Hall. Joe grew up in Storrs, CT, went to E.O. Smith High School and graduated from Holy Cross with a B.A. in 2009, majoring in Politics. Most recently, Joe completed his M.A. in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT in 2019. Joe enjoys cooking, watching movies, and all things fútbol. Joe welcomes all visitors and is looking forward to joining the Woodstock Academy community.

Chris Dunn has worked at The Woodstock Academy for many years as a Maintenance Technician and his wife Jess works at the University of Connecticut. Chris and Jess are both alumni of The Woodstock Academy and this will be their fourth year as members of the WA ResLife Community. They have three children, Cameron, Ayden, and Noah who love to explore and interact with everyone on campus. The Dunn family enjoys being outside, playing and watching sports, hanging at the lake, going for walks, and traveling.

Mr. Greg Dunn
In addition to being born and raised in Woodstock, Greg is also a Woodstock Academy, Class of ’04 alumni. He has a daughter Gabriela (8), and two sons, Jameson (2) and Lukas (1 month). Greg enjoys gardening, cooking, fixing/building things, exploring nature, attending live performances, and trying new hobbies. He works off campus in manufacturing, with a customer-focus on aerospace flight control. The Dunn’s joined the ResLife community in January of 2022 and can be found on the first floor in the Warren building. You will also see them playing outside, running around in the lounges, or by the desserts at dinner time.

Mr. Jonathon Elmer
Jon Elmer is originally from Milford, Connecticut and is starting his third year as a member of the WA South Campus community. He recently graduated from the University of Connecticut, where he earned a BS in Education (2021) and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction (2022). Jon advises the South Campus Bonding Club, a club for students to share their experiences and backgrounds with other students through games, meetings, and events. Jon is super excited for the upcoming school year!

Mr. Noah Giovannelli
Noah is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He went to boarding school for three years at The Kiski School in Western PA. He went on to study and play soccer at Hamilton College in upstate New York. He double majored in Public Policy and Hispanic Studies. He is involved with the Prep Soccer team on campus. “I really enjoyed being a part of ResLife at WA last year, and look forward to the year ahead!”

Chris is a Campus Safety Officer and JV lacrosse coach at The Woodstock Academy. Jennifer works at Quinebaug Valley Community College. Chris and Jen have two children: Emma, who graduated from The Academy in 2019 and attends Eastern Connecticut State University; and Tyler, who graduated in 2022 and attends Genesee Community College in NY. The Greens have one dog, Daisy Mae, and two cats, Oliver and Tiggy. The Greens love attending sporting events, cooking and baking together, skiing, and traveling. This is their fourth year as part of the ResLife family. They can be found on the third floor of Warren Hall and look forward to hosting dinners and activities for students throughout the year.

Mr. and Mrs. Jackson are entering their fourth year as members of the Woodstock Academy residential program. Mr. Jackson is entering his 9th year as a music educator at WA! Mrs. Jackson is also a music educator right across the street at Woodstock Middle School! Obviously, music is their passion, but they have many other interests and hobbies. They love to travel to as many countries as they can! Mr. and Mrs. Jackson also love outdoor activities such as golf, hiking, walking, various sports, and just enjoying a nice day! They also embrace indoor activities such as cooking, board-gaming, watching movies and television, or just relaxing with or without great company. Amiah Jackson-Ward is originally from Hartford, CT and is the eldest of 7 siblings. She earned her B.A. in Math (2020), and M.S. in Education (2021) from ECSU #WarriorForLife. This is Amiah’s second year at the Academy serving as a Dorm Parent and a Mathematics Teacher. Amiah enjoys cooking, hanging out with friends and family, and volunteering with her church and local communities. Joshua Davis, from Canterbury, CT, is new to the Acadamy this year. He works for Asplundh as a Foreman. He is an avid Dungeons & Dragons player, enjoys gardening, and football. Mr. Andrew & Mrs. Ilse Morehouse
Mr. Andrew and Ilse Morehouse are entering their second year as part of the WA Reslife family along with their son, Victor. Mr. Morehouse is also a World Language teacher at the Woodstock Academy who teaches Latin, ancient Greek, and Spanish. Ilse is a Classics PhD student at Boston University, and Victor is a freshman at the WA. They enjoy traveling, taking walks, doing karaoke, and playing games of all sorts, including Xbox, PC, Switch, and board games!

Miss Madison Palmerino
Madison Palmerino is a WA alumna from the Class of 2017 and is so excited to be in her second year as a residential life staff! She went to Western Connecticut State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. When she's not teaching voice lessons, helping out with the annual WA musical, photographing a wedding, or hanging out on campus with the WA boarding community, she can probably be found hiking, rock climbing, singing, playing Dungeons & Dragons, or snuggling with her cat.

Mr. Perez has been with res life for almost 2 years. He works at Day Kimball Hospital as a certified pharmacy technician, and has a second job at Bloomingdales Luxury clothing store. Hunter Petrosky is the new assistant coach here at The Woodstock Academy with the Prep Soccer Team. Coach Hunter is recent graduate from college and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration. In addition to coaching, he will also be photographing the team and working to build social media pages already created. He played soccer for over 18 years and was a college soccer coach before coming here to Woodstock. He is excited to meet and to get to know all students!

John Rigney is the Assistant Head of School for the South Campus and has worked in the boarding school environment for the last twenty-five years. John and his wife Kirsten live on the South Campus with their four children; Fiona (16), Owen (15), Abel (12), and Hazel (10). Along with two cats and their big dog Juno, the Rigney’s keep chickens and bees. They love being active outdoors, keeping a garden, and being part of the campus community. You can find the Rigney family at the southern end of campus in the corner yellow house. We enjoy and welcome visitors and are looking forward to continuing to build the community of The Woodstock Academy's South Campus.

Mr. Sean & Mrs. Bobbie-Jo Saucier
Sean Saucier is the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach at The Woodstock Academy. His wife, Bobbie-Jo Saucier, is the Director of Health Services. They have both been involved in the boarding school community for the last thirteen years. They live on the South campus with their two children, Braiden (17) and Kaylee (4). They also have a cat and two beautiful German Shepherd dogs, Hannah and Oakley. You may find Hannah occasionally wandering off onto the soccer fields, but don’t be afraid. She is a friendly, affectionate dog that loves to play fetch. The Saucier family loves spending their free time at their lake house swimming, boating, tubing/waterskiing, and fishing in the summer. They are a “sports” family and are often found bringing their kids to soccer, basketball, lacrosse, football, or an occasional round of golf. The Saucier family lives at the southern end of campus in the front yellow house. They welcome visitors and Mrs. Saucier is great at baking cookies and other treats for students to enjoy. They are glad to be part of the WA Community.

Mrs. Alison and Mr. Kevin Swanson
Kevin and Alison were both born and raised in Connecticut. Kevin is originally from Burlington and went to college at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. After graduating from Woodstock Academy in 2001, Alison attended Eastern Connecticut State University. They met in Los Angeles where they both lived for over 10 years. After marrying in August 2022 they decided to move back to CT, joining the Res Life program in November 2022. Kevin is a car enthusiast, loves snowboarding and spending time at the lake. Alison loves plants, being outdoors, cooking and reading. Together they enjoy spending time with their families and serving at their church. They are very excited to be a part of the Res Life program and look forward to getting to know everyone at South Campus!

The Tosetti family is going in their 4th year living in Warren hall. Mr & Mrs. Tosetti, Jayden who just graduated from WA class if 2022, Carter who is a sophomore this year and Jaxon who is in 5th grade live there with their 2 small dogs, 2 cats and a Guinea pig named Koji! Mrs. Tosetti has moved from her Admissions role to The Director of Residential life starting this year. You can find her in her office in Annhurst Hall!
