Planned gifts provide valuable resources for the long-term health and sustainability of The Academy. These gifts help to preserve the excellence of The Woodstock Academy for future generations and provide numerous benefits to donors. Planned gifts can help you make meaningful contributions as a component of your estate plans. Types of planned gifts include various trusts, gift annuities, life insurance, bequests and others.
Whether you have already made plans or have yet to consider them, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss potential projects and endowments that may help you leave a legacy at The Academy, save on taxes, in some cases realize an income stream, while still able to provide for family, and other organizations near to you. While we are not estate attorneys or financial advisors, we can help with the vision. The Woodstock Academy Foundation has worked to develop a list of “trusted advisors” who can help you think through details of planned gifts that may be appropriate for you and your family. At times we also plan to provide educational opportunities with some of these advisors for those who may like to learn more about estate planning and planned gifts in general.
Those who have chosen to designate The Academy as a beneficiary in their estate plan or have already made planned gifts become members of the Henry Chandler Bowen Legacy Society.
