Jonathan Sturdevant

Associate Head of School
for Advancement

Jon leads The Academy’s Advancement team, oversees the Center for the Arts, and works closely with Enrollment to maximize engagement and support for institutional priorities. His experience includes advancement consulting for several schools and non-profit organizations, and roles as a major gifts officer and director of reunion giving at Wheaton College. He holds a B.A. in business & economics from Wheaton College and a MBA in marketing management & entrepreneurship from DePaul University.

Julia Budd

Director of Communications

Julia shares The Woodstock Academy’s storythrough communications, marketing, and public relations. She develops engaging content for The Academy’s print and digital media, including the school’s website, email communications, and social media. She is also the editor for The Gleaner: The Magazine of The Woodstock Academy. Julia has a B.A. in applied communications with a focus on
intercultural communication from Cedarville University.

Joel Tretheway

Communications Specialist

Joel designs and creates The Woodstock Academy’s branded content including The Gleaner: The Magazine of The Woodstock Academy, and other promotional material. He also dabbles in photography, motion graphics, and aids in other communication tasks. Joel has a degree in graphic design, and has been at The Academy since 2015.

Brad Favreau '88

Director of Annual Giving
& Alumni Relations

Brad leads, plans, and implements programs and projects that engage alumni and the broader Woodstock Academy community in order to strengthen The Academy’s programs. He also serves as the assistant varsity softball coach for the Centaurs. Brad received a B.S. in physical education from Keene State College, a B.A. in education from Eastern Connecticut State University, and a M.A. from the University of Connecticut.

Doreen Holt '75

Alumni & Development Assistant

Doreen serves in Advancement & Alumni Relations. After graduating from The Woodstock Academy in 1975, Doreen started working at Preferred Plastics in Putnam, Connecticut where she was employed for 33 years. She returned to her alma mater in 2010.
