Bracken Memorial Library serves as the library for The Woodstock Academy as well as one of the four public libraries in the town of Woodstock. Town patrons are welcome at the library during public hours.

Library Cards & LendingResidents of Woodstock may get a library card from any of the four Woodstock libraries. Library cards may be used to check out books and other materials from any library in the state of Connecticut. Residents must have a library card to check materials out from Bracken Memorial Library. If we do not have the books, or other materials, that you are looking for, we can request them from other libraries in Connecticut through inter-library loans. Woodstock Academy students and employees do not need a library card to borrow materials from the library, but instead use their OneCard to check out/in library books, text books, and resources.
Computer Resources
The library currently offers desktop computers for patron use. They all have Internet access as well as Microsoft Office and a wide array of research tools. Access to many online periodicals, journals, and newspapers are available for use in the library and from home.
