• About

The Select Basketball Program at The Woodstock Academy is set to begin in the 2024-25 season. The objective of this program is to enroll academic-minded student-athletes who wish to develop their basketball talents to maximize their performance and gain exposure to future opportunities in the realm of basketball. This year-round program also provides the opportunity for students to enhance their athletic, academic, cultural, and character development. The team will compete in the notorious Power 5 – AA conference featuring some of the best talent in New England, including Winchendon, Putnam Science Academy, and St. Thomas More. In addition, the team plans to compete in tournaments such as the PJN classic (Oct 19-20, NYC), Storm King School (Dec 7-9), Western Reserve Academy (Dec 14-15), and a few others TBD.

By utilizing our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment on campus, student-athletes will achieve optimum physical training and conditioning. This program was created in partnership with High Level Training, LLC. – a strength and conditioning-focused basketball program with over 15 years of experience in the industry.

Additionally, this program aims to bridge the gap between international levels of basketball/academia through a vigorous and feasible schedule of academic courses, training/practices, and games.

We're excited to embark on this exciting adventure!
