Match 12: Centaurs foiled in Waterford

The regular season came to a close for the Centaurs girls lacrosse team with a 13-6 loss in Waterford.

Woodstock Academy finished with a 2-10 overall mark and a 1-9 record in Eastern Connecticut Conference Division 1.

Shannon Gagnon finished with two goals for the Centaurs to lead the team in goals with 15. She also added four assists this season, giving her a team-leading 19 points.

Rachel Canedy (14 goals, 2 assists) and Peyton Saracina (9 goals, 4 assists) each added two goals in the .loss to the Lancers.

The season is not over for the Centaurs who still have, at least, one more game to play.

They travel back to Waterford on Monday for an Eastern Connecticut Conference tournament match.
