Currently Living In: Sterling, CT with my fiancée, Lesley, our dog, Bo, and cat, Waffle.

WA Class of: 2005

Best WA Memory: I was a hockey player in the Griffin Youth Hockey organization before The Academy’s hockey program started, but we received a lot of support from our Academy classmates. It’s awesome to see how far WA Hockey has come in such a short time.

Favorite Teacher: The teachers I remember most fondly were all teachers that I made a connection with, regardless of subject, including Ms. Olshewski, Mr. Spaeth, and Mr. Rhault.

After Graduation: I attended the University of Rhode Island, where I studied History and Spanish.

Today: I am the co-founder (along with fellow WA Alumnus Mike Teed) and head brewer of Black Pond Brews, a brewery and restaurant in Dayville, CT. We opened in 2014 and moved to our current location in 2021.

WA Takeaways: My time at WA prepared me for the academic expectations of university...and gave me not only the foundation, but the confidence to pursue the life I wanted.

Advice for Students Considering Attending The Woodstock Academy: WA is a great academic experience that has only become stronger since I graduated. You meet so many new people, especially now with the expansion of enrollment to include international students.
