Favorite Teacher: My favorite teachers were Professor Kantor who taught Spanish and Dr. Graseck, who taught history.
After Graduation: After high school, I attended Brown University and majored in Art Semiotics and Africana Studies. I moved to NYC after college and worked in film. I wrote, directed, and produced my first feature film there. I moved to Los Angeles in 2013 and continue to work in film and television. I directed my second feature, Boy Genius, in Los Angeles and produced three other feature films and have directed 30 episodes of television on shows such as A Black Lady Sketch Show, Hello Jack: The Kindness Show, Gabby Duran & the Unsittables, and Saturdays.
Today: I am currently a film and television director and mother of two.

Advice for Future Centaurs: Explore a multitude of disciplines. The size of The Academy allowed me to participate in a plethora of opportunities. While there, I ran on the track and cross-country teams, I participated in theatre, I was part of the Spanish club, I played the saxophone, I took photography, and I created my own independent studies, among other things. There was a real support system for exploring that I still appreciate today.
