Weekly Update 4/5/24

Weekly Announcements: April 1-5

Quarter 3 Report Cards

Quarter 3 report cards are now available for all students and families on the PowerSchool Public Portal, accessible at This report card should serve as an official report card for any purposes you need. To view the report card, once logged into the portal, click “Student Reports” on the Navigation menu located on the left of the screen.
Honor roll status is based on the earned Quarter 3 grades.
Please note that the report card is only available from the PowerSchool Portal, not from the PowerSchool App. Although the PowerSchool App does a good job of showing a snapshot of information, its features are limited. The Public Portal is the only way to see report cards or a breakdown of student fees, to report an absence, etc.
Click here if you have not yet created a PowerSchool account.
If you have any questions about accessing report cards, Canvas, or PowerSchool, please email the technology office at

Solar Eclipse Memo

The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) has put together a memo regarding the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024, especially the concern that the height of the occlusion of the Sun will be occurring during school dismissal times.

Please note that The Woodstock Academy will follow a regular schedule on Monday. Solar eclipse viewing glasses have been purchased for the after-school groups and athletic teams.

This memo provides information and helpful resources garnered from speaking with astronomers familiar with such events and from the American Astronomical Society (AAS) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) websites.
