Increase in Respiratory Viruses
The Woodstock Academy health office has seen an increase in students with respiratory viruses. Respiratory viruses can include COVID-19, influenza, and RSV. We have also recently seen a number of pneumonia cases within our school community. We thought it would be beneficial to share information regarding the recent increase in pneumonia cases in children and a reminder of the simple prevention strategies that can be taken to help keep our community healthy. Please reach out to our health office staff by emailing nurses@woodstockacademy.org or call (860) 928-6575 option 4 if you have any questions.
