Weekly Update 11/8/24
Weekly Announcements: November 4-8
Quarter 1 Report Cards
Quarter 1 report cards are now available for all students and families on the PowerSchool Public Portal, accessible at wa.powerschool.com/public. This report card should serve as an official report card for any purposes you need. To view the report card, once logged into the portal, click “Reports” on the Navigation menu located on the left of the screen.
Honor roll status is based on the earned Quarter 1 grades.
Please note that the report card is only available from the PowerSchool Portal, not from the PowerSchool App. Although the PowerSchool App does a good job of showing a snapshot of information, its features are limited. The Public Portal is the only way to see report cards; it is also the only place to see a specific breakdown of student fees.
Click here if you have not yet created a PowerSchool account.
If you have any questions about accessing report cards, please email the technology office at technology@woodstockacademy.org.

Giving Day: November 12
Our 6th Annual Giving Day is coming up on Tuesday, November 12! All gifts directly enhance the experiences and opportunities for all students at The Woodstock Academy. This year, we have a goal of 224 donors in honor of WA's 224th school year as an educational institution.
Here are some highlights:
No matter the amount, each gift you give is greatly appreciated and makes a difference.
- Please help us spread the word by becoming an advocate and sharing your own unique link with friends and family, and on social media!
- For our alumni, we encourage you to gather with your classmates and make a meaningful impact by giving back.
- Student Giving Power Hour | 12:00-1:00 p.m. Visit us at Community Lunch! Every student gift received during that hour will be entered into a raffle to be Head of School for a day.
- Parent Giving Power Hour | 6:00-7:00 p.m. We are calling on WA parents (past, present, and future!) to make a gift and spread the word!
Those who make a gift of $150 or more OR set up a recurring gift of any amount will receive a pair of LIMITED EDITION Woodstock Academy socks!

Junior Prom Tickets
This year’s Junior Prom is at The Mansion at Bald Hill in Woodstock on November 16 from 6:00–10:00 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now through 11/12/2024 for $75.00 each. Tickets can only be purchased by juniors by logging in with their myWA account.
Juniors can only purchase one ticket without additional administration approval. If a Junior wishes to bring a guest, please do not purchase any tickets until you have an access code from the administration. The ticket platform will not allow a student to place a second order for the same event.
To receive an access code for a guest, the following steps will need to be met:
To bring an external guest: Print, complete, and submit the guest form to administration in the Main Office before 11/11/2024 to gain access to a guest ticket. Pass in guest forms ASAP. Late guest forms will not be accepted.
To bring another WA student as your guest: Meet with any administrator in the Main Office before 11/11/2024 to gain access to a guest ticket. Plan to meet early as late guest access codes will not be provided.
The link to purchase tickets with additional instructions was sent to all Juniors on 10/28/2024.
Don’t delay – a maximum of 215 tickets will be made available. Late ticket orders will not be offered.
