Week 2: Centaurs rally past Seton Hall Prep
The prep soccer team had a pretty successful weekend in Pennsylvania.
The Centaurs raised their record to 3-1 with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over the No. 3 team in the country, according to prepsoccer.com, Seton Hall Prep in Downington, Pa. Sunday.
An unassisted goal by Jesus de la Torre proved to be the game winner.
Lucas Basmadjian and Marc Ballart also scored goals for the Centaurs while Pol Saiz and Juanjo Menendez added assists.
On Saturday, the Centaurs posted a 2-1 win over the Shipley School in Westtown.
The Centaurs had to come back from a 1-0 deficit for the win.
Manu Marquez got the game-winning goal with 11 minutes to play off an assist from Juanjo Menendez.
Earlier, Javier Menendez had scored an unassisted goal to tie the game.
