Week 10: Centaurs get a couple of goals but fall short in West Hartford

The Centaurs made two trips to the Hartford area last week.

Woodstock Academy traveled to the Veteran's Memorial Rink in West Hartford on Saturday and fell to the Hall/Conard cooperative program, 6-2.

The Centaurs were even early as Sophia Gouveia scored in the first period to tie the game off an assist from Ellary Sampson.

But the host team came up with three goals in the second period to pull away.

Woodstock Academy added another goal in the third period when Gouveia scored for a second time. Sampson and Keynila Hochard added assists on that tally.

Earlier in the week, the Centaurs traveled to Springfield, MA. and fell to Pope Francis Prep 6-0.
