Future Centaur Summer Camp 2026

Dates: August 3-7, 2026

Join us for a week of fun at The Woodstock Academy! Centaur Summer Camps are for students entering grades 5-8 in the 2026-27 school year. Please note that all campers must submit health information following camp registration. Adventure & Ropes, Baseball, Basketball, and Ping Pong camp participants must fill out the Athletic Camp Health form. All forms are linked at the bottom of this page.

Adventures in Engineering

Time: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. & 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $200
Instructor: Rachel McQuillen, Math Teacher

Join us for Adventures in Engineering, a camp where young innovators dive into the exciting world of engineering through hands-on challenges and creative problem-solving! Each day, campers will explore a different branch of engineering—such as civil, mechanical, biomedical, aerospace, and environmental—by building, designing, and experimenting with real-world applications. This interactive experience will spark curiosity, teamwork, and a passion for STEM. No prior experience needed—just bring your imagination and get ready for an adventure!

Middle school students are invited to experience an unforgettable summer at Woodstock Academy’s Adventure Camp! Our program features exciting indoor and outdoor courses with both low and high adventure elements designed to challenge and inspire. Campers will push themselves physically and mentally while building confidence in a fun, supportive environment. Along the way, they’ll strengthen teamwork and communication skills as they tackle new challenges together. Join us for a summer of growth, friendship, and adventure!

Baseball Camp

Time: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This camp will serve to develop and improve the fundamental skills of baseball players who aspire to play the game in high school. The camp will not only offer an opportunity for players to improve their skills and knowledge of the game but also offer a fun and engaging place to grow or develop a love for sport itself.

Instructor: Donte Adams, Basketball Coach

Coach Adams will use his years as a varsity and prep basketball coach to build up from the basics to the more challenging aspects of basketball.

Blood types, finger prints, maggots and more! Learn how to use science to solve crimes!

 

culinary arts


Culinary Arts

Time: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. & 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $200
Instructor: Faith Clarke, ASL & Culinary Teacher

In this program, children will learn basic kitchen safety and cooking skills while having fun with food! Some recipes we will prepare include Self Portrait Pizzas, Edible Playdough, Million Dollar Cookies and more! Kids will have fun while they learn!

Dungeons & Dragons

Time: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $200
Instructor: Justin Fox, Spanish Teacher

Fight your way through dark and mysterious dungeons and battle dragons as you sail the high seas with pirates in a thrilling D&D role-play adventure! This camp is a terrific opportunity to make new friends or reunite with old ones. Mr. Fox has more than thirty years of Dungeon Master experience, crafts original fantasy role play scenarios that will fill your summer with fantasy and magic.

Ping Pong

Time: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Cost: $200
Instructor: Daniel Vogt, P.E. Teacher

The Table Tennis (Ping-Pong) camp is open to beginners and intermediate players. The camp will focus on learning the fundamentals including grip, serving techniques, rally control, and official game rules. Whether your child is picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, the Table Tennis Camp will offer a fun, active, and rewarding experience. Students may bring their own paddle if they choose but all equipment is provided.

 

 

Health Forms

In order to participate in ATHLETIC summer camps (basketball), all campers must have proof of a physical that has been completed within 13 months of the end date of the camp. You may use The Woodstock Academy’s form or a form provided by your physician.

If the camper will need medication administered during camp hours, please complete the Authorization for the Administration of Medication by School, Child Care, and Youth Camp Personnel form.

Completed health forms can be submitted with the registration form or emailed to bsaucier@woodstockacademy.org before the beginning of the camp. Campers will NOT be able to participate without appropriate forms.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registrants who cancel at least one month (30 days) prior to the event receive a full refund. Those who cancel 10 to 29 days prior to the event receive 50% refund. Cancellations nine days or less prior to the camp receive no refund.

The Woodstock Academy reserves the right to cancel events with too few registrants or substitute session topics and presenters without notice. If an event is canceled, we will notify registrants by email or phone.

Registrants for events canceled by The Woodstock Academy will receive a full refund or transfer to another session or workshop within the same fiscal year at no cost. In the event of cancellation, The Academy is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred.
 

No Show Policy

Any participant who has registered but did not pay for a camp, who does not cancel per the cancellation policy, and does not attend must still submit payment in full.
