Come join The Woodstock Academy’s first ever Summer Theater Intensive, an immersive theatrical education program for aspiring young performers. Over the course of the week, the actors will receive hands-on training in scene work, monologue preparation, and theatrical design as well as so much more. The performers will have access to the Bates Auditorium and all its resources to help create, design, produce, and perform their own original work at the end of the session.

Whether you are an actor looking to further hone your skills, a singer who desires more training in connecting to your music, or a dancer looking to improve your personality and performance on stage, this intensive is for you. With the encouragement and guidance from our professional faculty, the students will leave this camp feeling inspired, self-confident, and empowered!

    Camp Faculty:

Joey Almonte studied Theater and Dance at Vassar College where he received advanced training in acting, directing, choreographing and design production. After graduating, he continued his education and career performing in New York. Joey now works as a freelance director, choreographer, and performer up and down eastern Connecticut.
